First Aid Courses

Our courses comprise of both practical and theory sessions utilising the most up to date procedures and equipment

ABC First Response offer First Aid Courses that enable employers, employees and contractors to meet their obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations (GB) 1981 and the Manual Handling Regulations 1992.

Our clients have included people in the workplace, volunteers within community organisations, sports clubs, parents and those who just want to have some knowledge of first aid.

Children First Aid courses

Our children’s courses are fun, informative, jargon free and give children basic first aid skills that could save a life.

Each course includes a colourful booklet, pen and certificate. Refreshments are also included.

Children under 8 should be accompanied by a parents or guardian. Refreshments will be provided for adults too

FAA Level 2 Award in Student First Aid (RQF)

A brand new regulated first aid qualification for students aged 11+

The Announcement

The Government has announced that health education will become compulsory in all state-funded schools in England from September 2020 and this includes basic first aid training.

‍The new 3-hour Level 2 Award in Student First Aid has been designed for key stage 3 and key stage 4 students (11+ years) and fulfils the requirements of the Department for Education in respect of first aid training.

Not only would secondary schools meet the statutory requirements for health education, but students would also have the opportunity to attain a nationally regulated qualification, enhance their CV and develop new life skills
